With support from generous donors like you, The Shoulder has been able to serve the community by providing treatment services to those suffering from the affects of drugs and alcohol for over 35 years! The Shoulder continues to work each day to address the needs of individuals and families who are battling addiction and we want to THANK YOU for continuing to be a part of our mission.

Blessings and Peace,

Stephen P. Carr II, MA

Executive Director

Donate

The Shoulder relies on donations to provide quality, affordable treatment to individuals with substance use disorders. We offer a scholarship program to eligible clients who present for services, meet diagnostic criteria for residential-level care, and do not have the financial resources available to pay for treatment. Your contribution today provides the opportunity for someone to live a life of long-term recovery.

Unable to make a financial donation? You can always start a donation drive at your church/business/school. We are always accepting donations of men’s clothing, towels, bed sheets (twin size), pillows, shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothpaste, disposable razors, etc.

Please select from the list below to see what a difference your donations can make. Every donation counts!!

Volunteer

Want to take a more hands on approach? We could use volunteers like you! The Shoulder has multiple volunteer opportunities to fit your passion and your schedule:

  • We invite local churches and small groups on campus to lead a spirituality group and minister to the clients. Multiple days and times are available. If you are interested sharing your ministry at The Shoulder, please contact Wanda Fox-Pierre, Director of Programs, to be added to the schedule at least one month in advance.
