Mission & Vision

The Mission of The Shoulder is to restore individuals and their families who are affected by alcohol/drug abuse by providing quality, affordable treatment in a safe, secure, Christian environment.

The Shoulder exists because we believe everyone deserves a chance toward recovery, regardless of their income.

A Word From Our Executive Director

I have embarked on an amazing journey over the last couple of months getting to know more about the history and the heart of The Shoulder. I have had the wonderful privilege of meeting and getting to know several of the individuals who have been a part of the foundation of The Shoulder. Stories of God's grace, provision, and guidance set the stage for The Shoulder's existence in Baldwin County. It has been awesome to hear how God pieced together and provided all the needs for the foundation of The Shoulder and how that has led to a legacy of changed lives. This year we are proud to be celebrating 30 years of service to our community and the surrounding areas.

The Shoulder offers residential and community programs. Follow the link below to learn more about eligibility requirements, programs, and frequently asked questions.
